The Method and the Madness - From a Photo essay by Robert Knoth. Several hundred thousand Sierra Leonean refugees are struggling to escape a spreading war in this deeply impoverished region of West Africa. The refugee encampment of Katkama was burned by Guineans who feared it had been infiltrated by rebel insurgents.
