An old lady works sorting used school notebooks for recycling in Thirteenth Nagar, the plastic recycling community just off 60 Feet Road. Many of the residents in this very primitive colony (mainly from Tamil Nadu in South India) actually have proper brick houses elsewhere in the slum, but they prefer to live in their plastic sheeting shelters here to be close to their work, while making a second income by renting out their houses.
