Thanh's assignment was death ad grieving, contrasting more with the joyous
mood of HCMC during the pre-Tet (New Year) period than at any other time.
Picture shows the very public display of grief of a mourning family during
a funeral procession in HCMC, carrying a photograph of the deceased. The
ritual and the white funeral dress are in the Vietnamese / Chinese tradition.
