Young love has blossomed for decades at the Trent swimming pool. Local farmer Joe Christensen owned the spring-fed gravel pit but decided to donate it to the city in 1952 when he couldn't keep kids from swimming in it. Every year, residents turn out for The Beach Bash, a fundraiser at the pool, complete with a picnic and fireworks. |
