Drivers maneuver in preparation for the annual tractor parade at the James Valley Threshing Show. The event, which marked its 27th year in 2001, includes the world's largest steam plowing demonstration. "My first son was five days old when he went to his first threshing show," says threshing enthusiast Donna Anderson, mother of two sons who are eager to learn the craft. "Now he's 17 and handles some of the show's biggest machinery. It's a nice, warm feeling to know that they're so interested in how farming started."
