The late Ole Olsen's powder horn and rifle were treasured tools of his re-enactment role depicting Pierre Dorion, a trapper and interpreter hired by Lewis and Clark during their Missouri River expedition. For many years prior to his death in 2000, Olsen was instrumental in organizing the annual Lewis and Clark Heritage Days in Elk Point.
