New York, New York: After the destruction of the World Trade Center in September 2001, broadcasters relocated their transmission antennae to the top of the Empire State Building, which, at 1,250 feet, has reclaimed its title as the tallest building in New York. At dawn, dangling at the equivalent of the 104th floor, machinist Tom Silliman of Electronics Research, Inc., preps the towers' superstructure for new equipment.
