Nguyen Viet-Duc, born at Gia Lai, Kontum, on 25 February 1981. They were conjoined at the pelvis, with one anus, one penis, one urinary tract, one bladder, two kidneys and three legs. They are one of the many sets of Siamese twins born at the Tu Du hospital in Ho Chi Minh City (10 sets in 1986 alone). These boys are seven years old and Viet (right) is brain-dead. They were eventually separated by a team of Japanese doctors.
