Boys at the Creek (Austin, 1998) - Austin Price, Jeff Armbruster, and Jesse O'Brien spent afternoons, weekends, and summers, from the ages of eleven to fifteen, riding their mountain bikes down to the low-water bridge in the Lost Creek subdivision, an entry point to the Barton Creek Greenbelt in Austin, Texas. The boys rode the trails, hiked the canyons, and swam in the creek, where they whiled away hours fishing and swinging on a crude rope-swing accessible from the top of a boulder on the creek's bank.
