The graffitti on the wall at Abu Dis reminds us of another terrible ghetto. Abu Dis is situated on the south-east slope of the Mount of Olives. The municipality of Abu Dis is where the Palestinian parliament was supposed to be located. It joins the West Bank to Jerusalem. The road that climbs from Jericho and the Dead Sea comes to an abrupt halt in this East Jerusalem neighborhood, five minutes from the walls of the Old City.
