A crossing point a few blocks up from this intersection where Palestinians are still able to cross the wall. Many of these people are going to work or to the hospital near-by. Since Abu Dis has always been an integral part of Jerusalem, most of the public services are located on the Jerusalem side of the wall. Palestinians will now be required to go many kilometers detour to make their way to Jerusalem.
