BARTELSTONE: Here's a shot that I took from Brooklyn Heights the other day. It shows two Coast Guard maintenance workers repairing a navigation aid in the harbor. I used a focal length of 800mm so it would be a big surprise to the men to learn that they had been photographed!

This is not typical of the photography that I normally do. B & W shots of infrastructure and factories are frequent subjects.
