Soccer is without doubt the national sport and there has been intense jubilation across the country since South Africa has been chosen to host the soccer World Cup in 2010. No matter where you travel in South Africa, there will be a dusty football field somewhere with makeshift posts and a local team. It's almost hard to believe that these dusty huts, usually without electricity and water, are barely a half-hour from central Durban, yet house some of the 3.5 million people that live within the city boundaries and commute to work each day.
