Afghan presidential election
At Balkh's university in Mazar-e-Sharif (Jowzjan Province), a U.N.-Afghan JEMB's (Joint Electoral Management Body) woman employee is checking the registers of all the ballot votes after the closing of the first direct presidential election, Oct. 9, 2004.
