BY THE WAGON LOAD
Shannon Richard pulls a wagon of a few oil paintings from her home in the Lakeview neighborhood of New Orleans. "There's not much worth saving," she said after going through her flooded home with her husband Scott, right, and her father, Randi Reboul.
A local friend told me about a call he received from his parents. They were headed back to New Orleans with a U-Haul trailer to salvage what they could from their flooded home. The son, who had seen the house said, "You don't need a U-Haul." All Shannon needed was a Radio Flyer.
