BAGHDAD, IRAQ, March 17, 2004 - A car bomb struck the Mount Lebanon Hotel in the Karrada district of Baghdad at about 8:20 p.m. At least 28 were killed, 45 injured. The bombing came two days before the first anniversary of the beginning of the war in Iraq. The Mount Lebanon Hotel was occupied by employees of an Egyptian company working for the American-led administration.
