Balad, Iraq--U.S. Marine 2nd Lt. James Michael Geiger III, 24, of Fayetteville, N.C., is wheeled into the U.S. Air Force Combat Support Hospital in Balad, Iraq, after being transported from the battlefield in a U.S. Army Blackhawk helicopter. Geiger was injured while passing out radios and candy to Iraqis in Western Iraq. Eventually, Geiger was transported back to the United States to recover from the injury to his foot.
