Balad, Iraq--Lt. Col. Jim Keeney, an orthopedic surgeon, works on a wounded U.S. soldier in the Air Force Combat Surgical Hospital in Balad, Iraq, which has treated many of the more than 16,000 U.S. military personnel that have been wounded since the war with Iraq began in 2003.
