Baghdad, Iraq--The personal effects of a wounded U.S. soldier were collected into a bag while he was being treated in Baghdad's Combat Surgical Hospital for injuries he sustained in Iraq. The hospital is staffed with experienced surgeons and state-of-the-art surgical equipment in order to handle the U.S. wounded in Iraq, of which there have been more than 16,000 since the start of the war in 2003.
