The Siq ends directly opposite the most famous facade in Petra, the Khazneh. The Siq is a chasm between two sandstone cliffs. The Bedouin have a souvenir shop to grab the tourist trade. "We went on in ecstasies (in the Siq) until suddenly between the narrow opening of the rocks, we saw the most beautiful sight I have ever seen...It is like a fairy tale city."
