BEIRUT, LEBANON, July 14, 2006: Lebanese men watch as Rafiq Hariri International Airport burns in Beirut as Israel continues to bomb Lebanon's infrastructure and the Hezbollah neighborhood of Dahiya.
Israel has intensified it's attacks against Lebanon in retaliation for the kidnapping of two soldiers by Hezbollah guerillas and the killing of several others in coordinated cross-border attacks. Helicopter gunships fired on fuel tanks at Beirut's airport while aircraft bombarded its runways. Several highways and bridges around Beirut have been targeted as well. Thousands of Lebanese civilians have begun to flee over the Syrian border, fearing a full-scale war is imminent.///
