Azerbaijan, Baku. 1997: An Azerbaijani refugee herds his sheep past a former oil workers' district and abandoned oil plants. Out of a population of 7 million, the Azerbaijani-Armenian war forced one million Azerbaijani from their homes, which now are on territory occupied by Armenia. Many of them, mainly from a village called Zangalan, and from High Karabakh, now live hand-to-mouth, packed into these abandoned districts near Baku.
