Latafiya, Iraq, May 19, 2007 [Bravo Co. 2-15, Task Force 2-15, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division] – Iraqi men being detained for questioning following an explosion that killed a U.S. soldier and injured four coalition soldiers. They were later released. The troops were on patrol in search of three missing American soldiers when the tragedy occurred. Before the day was over, yet another U.S. soldier, a medic, was critically wounded during the search, shot in the forehead by an Iraqi sniper.
