Stuyvesant High School graduate Amit Friedlander was in class just a few blocks from the World Trade Center on 9/11. He experienced the debris cloud and was in school during the debris transfer operation at Pier 25 next to the school. Amit has battled Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a cancer of the lymph system, and has graduated from college. At Pier 25, 2/26/2007.
