President Richard M. Nixon, Jerusalem, 1974 - President Nixon was speaking at the Knesset (parliament) at the invitation of Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meier, who said he was the greatest American president Israel had ever had. Behind him loomed a massive Chagall mural of Moses with the Ten Commandments. What struck me was the way he held his hands, just like those in the mural.
