On the morning of her wedding, a 16-year-old girl spends one last day with her family at their home in Kabul. Typical of many forced marriages, her fiancé and his family forbid her to continue her high school education. She will also live with her new husband and his entire family in their home and be restricted from seeing her own family. Forced marriage is a serious problem for young women in Afghanistan. It often leads to domestic violence, depression and suicide.
