BAGHDAD, IRAQ, APRIL 12, 2003 - A father and his sons guard their street from looters in the wealthy Baghdad neighborhood of Kadhamiya. The neighborhood organized armed civilians who patrol 24 hours a day to keep thieves at bay. Looters ransacked the homes of government employees and Saddam family palaces just down the road.
