Thomas County, Georgia -- Willie Head, a third-generation farmer, carries his watermelon crop from the field with the help of some neighbors. Head's father grew tobacco and produce, and his grandfather grew tobacco and raised cows on the same land. A last-generation farmer, Head has started a hog operation on the farm and grows corn as well, having decided to phase out tobacco and watermelon.
