I shot Salma Hayek for a cover of Movieline magazine at the Argyle Hotel in Los Angeles. After shooting all day inside, I made this shot of her on the balcony with the city in the background. I chose my custom Fresnel light because it enabled me to easily use a flag and the barndoors to keep the light off of the white surfaces of the wall.
