ARRIVAL – Empress Zoe shared the crown of Byzantium from 1034 to 1050 and is depicted in a mosaic at the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. She was also the subject of Pepe Ozan's "The Arrival of Empress Zoe," a tribal opera depicting the peculiar saga of a soul's birth into death.
