I had gone out to Martha Davis' house in the San Fernando Valley to take publicity shots. She was lead singer in her group, The Motels. She had several pet chameleons, which I liked, and her red dress reminded me of a big red Japanese fan I had in the trunk of my car. We just put it all together out by her garage.
