I was shooting publicity photos of a group of friends who hadn't yet named themselves, Stephen Stills, David Crosby and Graham Nash. We were driving around West Hollywood in the late afternoon and Graham remembered a great looking little old house. We went there and the three guys sat on the couch while I clicked away. A few days later they decided their title would be "Crosby, Stills & Nash" and they liked the couch picture, but were sitting in the wrong order. I said, "No problem; we'll just go back and take it over." We went back but the house was gone.
