Baloch villagers gather after returning to the town of Kahan on Feb. 1, 2006 in the Pakistani province of Balochistan. The villagers, all from the Marri tribe, said that they had fled the town during three days of Pakistani shelling of the community in mid-January, but have returned after weeks of quiet there. Marri tribesmen and fighters from the nearby Bugti tribe have been battling Pakistani forces in a long-simmering separatist movement.
