June 13, 1998 - Fighters
from the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) ride on ponies to the Yugoslav frontier.
KLA activities, supplied from safe havens in northern Albania, have provoked
devastating Serbian artillery attacks against villages and other civilian
targets along the border, forcing civilians to flee over the mountains.
