Late in the afternoon after their safari, the Clintons took a boat trip on the Chole river looking for hippos and other game along the shore. I was across the deck from the President and First Lady at they chatted with National Security Advisor Sandy Berger, and the American Ambassador to Botswana. Suddenly, the President took Mrs. Clinton's hand, and I knew I had the picture of the trip.
