The Vice President in a room beneath the floor of the Republican National Convention in Madison Square Garden after his speech.

KENNERLY: What struck me about this moment was that it could have been any ole family. There's Grandma Lynne with her new grandson Phillip Perry on her lap. Behind her Uncle Todd tosses Grace into the air as Grandpa Phil plays with a granddaughter Elizabeth. The eldest grandgirl, Katie, watches from her perch on Grandpa Dick's desk, who also happens to be the Vice President of the United States, and only minutes before had given his acceptance speech to the Republican Convention in New York City. Either bored by at all, but probably just fatigued, Vice Presidential kid, and key aide to her father, Mary Cheney doesn't even bother to stifle a yawn...
