A young woman shot during street rioting in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, 1995. The mob later turned on me after my translator ran off. I should probably have done the same thing, but unwisely stuck around. Only the presence of a Haitian AFP photographer, who managed to distract the mob, saved me from being stoned or necklaced.
