Afghanistan. 2000: An armed escort leads our team to Abdallah Post. Two days before resistance forces gained control of the post, which had been a front-line Taliban position. At the time, the Taliban had control of 95 percent of the country and the only pocket of resistance was territory under Commander Massoud.
