I was in Ireland to photograph U2's homecoming concert in 1997. While there, I was mugged and robbed. Bono got a kick out of that. "You was mooged! They respected you! They hit you because they were afraid of you!" Bono set me up with front row tickets to his concert and during it crawled on his belly directly toward me. At the last moment he took the hand of the woman next to me and I made this portrait.
