Sasha and Ira, Odessa, Ukraine 2001

Sasha and Ira are both HIV-positive. He visits her at the maternity hospital where she delivered their fifth child. The fourth had died several months after birth. They live together with Ira's mother and the remaining four children, Rita, 11; Nadia, 9; Tanya, 5 and Maria, the newborn.
