Border crossing with Turkey near the city of Dohuk. Mainly Turkish drivers are transporting crude oil from the Saddam-controlled part of Iraq through Kurdistan to Turkey. Kurds charge them certain transit taxes. But when the oil arrives depends on Turkish border police. Sometimes it takes a week to cross from Kurdistan to Turkey.
