This photograph is one of my favorites because Ronald Reagan never looked better and because it was such a wonderful day. This was made in 1976 and Reagan had just turned 65. Reagan belonged to a riding club near Paso Robles, Calif. As I recall, the day ended with a great barbecue. I have covered eight presidents and President Ronald Reagan was by far the "most pleasant" president that I have ever covered.
