Italian paparazzo Rino Barillari has been beaten up several times during his career. After he shot this picture of Frank Sinatra at the Cafe de Paris on the Via Veneto, he was saved from another such trauma at the hands of the singer's bodyguards by a fluke: the tables were set up in such a way that they created a barrier that gave him enough time to escape.
