Several pubs along Belgrave Road in Leicester cater almost exclusively to Indians, who enjoy a pint of Kingfisher or Carling lager before lunch. British researchers say Sikhs drink more alcohol than Hindus or Muslims and that alcohol-related psychiatric admissions to hospitals are especially high for Sikh men.
