During the course of the movie, since Diane Fossey had only been murdered a short period of time prior to making the movie, I had a chance to put my photojournalst hat on and shoot an essay of photos at Karasoke, her research station. This picture shows the exterior of her cabin and the point of access of the murderers where the new piece of corrugated iron was placed.
