At the U.S. Special Forces camp
at Buon Ea Yang in Darlac province, Vietnam, relatives of the Montagnard
strike force, gather around the body of a soldier killed in battle that
day. Families gathered near the camp's airstrip to check for the identity
of the dead as they were loaded off a Medevac helicopter. Five strikers
were killed that day in a fight with a North Vietnamese main force unit
in March 1966.
