Claxton Interview: Lena Horne

In the star's dressing room at the Sands Hotel, Lena was depressed, and her close friend Billy Strayhorn ("Sweet Pea," as she called him) was attempting to cheer her up. When she arrived onstage, one would never have guessed her previous mental state.
