The Photographer's
Diary
Tibetan Hunger Strike |
As each day turned into the next, my concern grew for the Tibetan’s safety. Even though they believe in re-incarnation, I have become very close to them and don't want them to die. No longer will I speak to them because I do not want to weaken them further. Yundrung Tsering, the quietest and most mysterious of the six, sleeps with a towel over his eyes. Later, I learned from his caretakers that in his weakened condition, even ordinary sunshine hurts when it goes through his eyes. |
