After the Bombing

July 5, 1999 - Relatives of
ethnic Albanians who were
slaughtered by Serb forces
during the NATO bombing
campaign of Kosovo mourn
at a funeral service in Bela
Crkva, a village some 50
kms. southwest of Pristina.

July 7, 1999 - French policemen
protect two ethnic Albanian women
from flying stones and sticks on the
north side of a bridge which divides
Mitrovica, a town some 40 kms. north
of Pristina. Stones and sticks flew as
ethnic Albanians and Serbs clashed
hours after a march went peacefully
through the Serb section of the city.
