We start from within New Medina, and we hope that the ripples of peace, or the natural environment, strong families, will continue to grow just like the pebble that was thrown into that pond.

Rosa, Imana, and Ruth Shareef
Sumrall, Mississippi

What we care about first is peace. Peace within... we want peace so that life will continue to grow... therefore, our community that we have here, we work together to establish that peace, to work with the other communities, but you have to start from within, and that's what we are trying to do.  When we are raising our livestock, we know that this is God's creature and that we have to treat it fairly. It's like when you have a pond and you take a pebble and you throw that pebble and the ripples start going outward.
